This piece is made with recycled parts in Mexico from old Singer sewing machines and other recycled irons. Cast iron is chosen because it gives you uniform, flat tortillas - and the piece lasts a lifetime. Easy as pie

Mix equal parts masa corn flour (widely available in grocery stores) with water; make a golf ball-sized dough, cover the flat side of the press with saran wrap,  put it in the press, and close it. Press once, rotate and gently press again. Cook ~ 1 minute on each side. Then keep your tortillas warm in the included handmade servilleta napkin.
